The Trustees of Accounting For Charities Trust have a wealth of experience in the Not-For-Profit sector, and are passionate about assisting their communities for the wellbeing of society as a whole.
The board of Trustees bring extensive skills to Accounting for Charities Trust, and are currently working in, or for the benefit of the Not-For-Profit sector and have had experience working as Budget Advisors and Community Advisors, and have extensive experience at management level in both corporate and fundraising organisations.

About our General Manager/ Mentor & Trainer
Mark Vallance is our General Manager but also employed as a Mentor & Trainer working at the ‘coalface’ and leading a team providing financial training and mentoring for the benefit of all Not-For-Profit organisations in the Lower North Island, Hamilton, and Auckland.
Mark is a Xero and MYOB Approved Partner. He has had extensive training experience with both Xero and MYOB including teaching students at Weltec. He has a Bachelor of Business Degree (BBS) and is a member of the NZ Institute of Management (MNZIM) and NZ Trustees Association (ANZTA). Mark also has a National Certificate in Adult Education & Training.
Mark has had extensive accountancy and management experience in both the commercial and Not-For-Profit sectors. He has also had extensive fundraising and grant management experience by working as a Finance and Operations Manager in Class 4 gaming, and with the Department of Internal Affairs in community operations.
Mark is passionate about the community and has had volunteer roles with the Fire Brigade; sports coaching, and as a Bureau Advisor with Citizens Advice Bureau.
